simuwatt CEO/Co-Founder Oliver Davis will be speaking at the Regional Central Meeting of the National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO). The NASEO Regional Central Meeting will be held in Austin, Texas on May 1-2. Oliver will be representing simuwatt and speaking in the "Advances in Auditing for Energy Efficiency Programs" session.
NASEO is a national, non-profit association for the governor-designated energy officials from each state and territory. NASEO facilitates peer learning among state energy officials, serves as a resource for and about state energy offices, and advocates the interests of the state energy offices to Congress and federal agencies.
There are many informative and interesting sessions at the NASEO Regional Central Meeting this year. Oliver will be speaking during the "Advances in Virtual Auditing for Energy Efficiency Programs" session. This session will explore virtual energy auditing and its emergence as to tool to cost effectively determine if a building is operating efficiently. Participants will hear about lessons learned from states that have already launched virtual auditing programs and the panel will discuss the pros and cons of virtual auditing.
